OECD ESP International Study on Social and Emotional Skills (III): Field Test and Main Study



This research is an international joint study, called SSES (Study on Social and al Skills), conducted as a part of OECD ESP (Education and Social Progress) project. This has been carried out since 2017 as a four-year research in order to identify the level and current state of the social and emotional skill of students from major cities around the world. In 2019, which is the third year of the planned research period, the main surveys have been conducted with the questionnaires that have been finalized based on the ones developed during the first year and the result of the questionnaire test and preliminary data analysis conducted during the second year. During the fourth year, which is 2020, the in-dept analysis on the data collected from the main surveys will be carried out, providing international comparison analysis and policy implications to the countries participating this study, including Korea.
