The problem of the decline in the school-age population
is related to an overall decrease in population and
underlying demographic and socioeconomic factors.
Accordingly, the number of small schools is expected
to increase due to the decline in the school-age
population. The old support system for small-sized
schools has limitations and it is necessary to establish
a policy orientation and approach suitable for the era
of the decreasing school-age population. This study
aims to explore support systems and operation plans
for small-sized schools.
