Research on How to Revitalize Primary and Secondary School Students’ Character Education (III):

Develop in-service materials on character education for middle school teachers



This is the third-year part of ‘Research on How to Revitalize Primary and Secondary School Students’ Character Education,’ a three-years of longitudinal study, and carries a purpose of developing in-service training materials to increase middle-school teachers’ instructing capacity for character education. In this study, in-depth analysis on character education at multiple levels such as theoretical background, current status and policies, and foreign cases, and interested parties’ requests and opinions has been performed. The foreign cases are recruited from the United States, Germany, Singapore, and Japan, while request investigation has been performed on about 3,700 middle-school faculties and staffs from education training institutes through written survey.
