This study was conducted with the three following goals. First, extract the main features of North Korean migrant youth’s settlement process in South Korean society and search relevant political implications by re-analyzing the first-cycle longitudinal study data on North Korean migrant youth’s education. Second, search for ways to continuously utilize the first-cycle study data in the future. Third, develop a study model for the second-cycle longitudinal study and plan the contents and the method of the study.
