A Study of Innovation Tasks of Teacher Policy according to Educational Environment (Ⅱ):

Teacher Professionalism and an Alternative Professional Development System



This study is the second year part of a three-year study on ‘A Study of Innovation Tasks of Teacher Policy according to Educational Environment (Ⅱ).’ This second year study focused on ‘teacher professionalism,’ and have targeted to identify the concept of teacher professionalism and provide new idea for teacher professional development system. Specific research questions were, 1) What is teacher professionalism, 2) How is teacher professional development operated?, and 3) What is the way in which professional development system can complement the changing teaching environment?
