The Korean Educational Development Institute trained Mongolian Educational Administrators on pre-school education from April 9th?15th, 2006. This program was designed to introduce pre-school education system in South Korea to Mongolian pre-school education administrators.
For the program, we had lectures on ‘law of pre-school education,’ ‘implementation of the law,’ and ‘principal of pre-school education law’ by lecturers from Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, Korea Institute of Child Care and Education(KICCE), and Korean Society for Early Childhood Education(KSECE).
Moreover, KEDI opens various opportunities to experience Korean primary schools, different kinds of kindergartens, and a national special school for the emotional disturbed children. Also participants had valuable chances to understand Korean culture more through the cultural visits.
It was a meaningful time for trainees and trainers. Furthermore it was a great start for the exchanges of Mongolian and Korean education.
