Dr. Mae Chu Chang, the Lead General Educator for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region of the World Bank will visit KEDI on May 31. She has served the region since 1995 and has worked intensively in countries such as Iran, Egypt, Yemen, Jordan to help the governments develop comprehensive education reform strategies.
The purpose of her visit to Korea is to learn about education reform in Korea. She will have a chance to meet Dr. Chong Jae Lee, President of KEDI and Dr. Jai-Seok Kwak, Director of International Cooperation Team and talk about the necessary institutional frameworks for transforming education system to meet the needs of the knowledge economy and chagne management processes needed for the reform.
