This study is a sixth-year study of the ‘Second Cycle
of Education Longitudinal Study on Youth with the
North Korean Background.’ This study aims to examine
educational growth and the state of social integration
of youths with the North Korean background consisting
of 4 panels(6th grade in elementary school, 3rd grade
in middle school, and alternative schools and out-ofschool, and after graduation of high school) based on
9 in-depth interviews for the last 5 years and present
policy recommendations.
