This research analyzes the data from the 2018
cycle of the Teaching and Learning International
Survey (TALIS) to assess the conditions of teachers
and administrators in South Korea’s junior high
schools and to provide policy suggestions to support
teacher professionalism. The analysis focuses on four
themes: job stress, teacher assessment and feedback,
teacher collaboration and school culture, and school
leadership.
