Development of Action Models for the Connection

between High School and College Education and the Development of Operation Strategy



The purpose of this study is to propose diverse models and to develop action plans in order to practice linking high school and college education. In this study, the connection between high school and college education is defined as linking high school and college education without disconnection in development of an individual's ability, personality and interest in the aspect of contents, and establishing various collaborative relations between high school and college. Main tasks of the study are the followings.

First, how much do the participants know about the connection between high school and college education, and what are the phenomenal characteristics of it among the participants? Second, what are the characteristics and tasks of the domestic cases of the connection between high school and college education? Third, what are the characteristics and implications of the foreign cases of the connection between high school and college education? Fourth, what are the action plans and running models that are reasonable to adopt in the current situation for connecting high school with college education?

We have studied literature reviews, collected extensive opinions through various methods, conducted a survey and interviewed admission directors and admission officers of colleges and counselors of high schools.
