Study on Strategic Policy Plans of Open Secondary Schools for Educationally Alienated Adolescents

This study pays attention to the reality that the support systems for the educationally alienated adolescents to keep their learning have been insufficient. along this line, this study is intended to develop and propose action plans to foster educational supports from the perspectives of Open Secondary Schools for the educationally alienated adolescents, including school-aged dropouts, unmarried single mothers, disabled students, inmates of juvenile reformatories, multicultural family students, North Korean students, etc. The action plans involve two different aspects. One aspect aims for action plans to improve the overall operations of Open Secondary Schools in terms of such as their curriculum, educational environments, system restructuring, and so on. The other is to propose action plans on how to build effective educational links between Open Secondary Schools and many different educational institutes and facilities taking care of the educationally alienated adolescents in order to provide them with seamless educational support networks.
