Research on How to Revitalize Primary and Secondary School Students’ Character Education (Ⅱ):

Develop in-service materials on character education for elementary school teachers

This is year 2 research followed by the year 1’s ‘Research on how to revitalize the character education for elementary and middle school students’ and was conducted on the purpose of developing character education in-service materials aiming at nurturing elementary school teachers’ capability for character education. To this end, this research established a guideline on how to develop in-service materials and training frame through in-depth observations and analysis at multiple levels such as curriculum analysis of training institutes for teacher, current in-service situation of in-service institutes nationwide, case studies analysis of foreign countries, interview of related person, and teachers’ and staff’s needs analysis on training.
