Strategic Planning for the Advancement of the Teaching-Learning Quality in Higher Education (Ⅲ)



This research aims to devise strategies to improve the teaching-learning quality which is the key to enhancing the competitiveness of college education. The whole research series is designed to be conducted for 5 consecutive years, and this research enters into the third year (2015). This research, which includes all types of higher education institutions, conducted a preliminary survey on teaching-learning process for junior colleges, carried out the main survey for four-year-course universities, and developed a draft of survey tools for graduate schools. The surveys have been conducted on the perception of the professors as important partners in teaching-learning process. A total of 48,357 undergraduate students from 70 universities, 5,525 students from 11 junior colleges participated in the surveys, and 2,087 professor from 59 colleges participated in the surveys.
