A delegation of the Institute of International Education (IIE) at the University of Stockholm visited KEDI on September, 29, 2010. During this visit, the delegation met Tae-Wan Kim, the president of KEDI as well as some executives and researchers of KEDI. They mainly discussed about Korea's current educational system and policy compared to that of Sweden. The delegation explained Sweden's own educational strategies and development through examining their education of employability, Education of Quality For All(EQFA) system, Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) and Transformation and their use and application of ICTs to reach the Marginalized. On the other hand, the meeting participants of KEDI shared their knowledge and experiences with the delegation of IIE as they described Korea's current educational system based on the comparative study on Student Assessment System. In addition, they also explained the meaning and methods of High Quality Education for all and Education for Sustainable Development and Education Integration to the delegation.Then, finally, they compared the changes in Korea and Sweden's policies in education.
