On June 15, 2004, a Japanese delegation visited KEDI with the purpose of understanding of Korean education. The delegation, consists mainly of elementary and high school teachers in Japan, is now participating in an exchange program between the two countries, jointly hosted by Korean National Commission for UNESCO and Asia/Pacific Cultural Center for UNESCO.
During the meeting, there were two brief presentations on introduction of KEDI and Korean education which were followed by discussion session. Through the exchange of information, participants could have an opportunity to have a better understanding of each country’s educational situation.
