As a part of the 5th National Festival of Lifelong Education, International Policy Dialogue: Challenges in Implementing Lifelong Learning for Adults took place in BEXCO, Busan from Sep. 28 to Oct. 1. The seminar was co-organized by KEDI and UIL, hosted by KEDI, KRIVET, KNOU, and KNC, and sponsored by MOE&HRD, Haeundae-gu Office, and Changwon City. This international dialog was focused on implementing lifelong learning for adults, especially from the viewpoint of the various countries’ policies and strategies. The programme consisted of one-day field trip to Changwon including the meeting with Mayor of Changwon City Hall, and two-days of plenary and workshop sessions. The outcome of the seminar was that it could provide all participants from all around the world to do benchmarking other countries’ cases on lifelong learning and to exchange their experience.
