During September 5th-17th, 2005, the Korean Educational Development Institute trained 15 Mongolian educational administrators on educational policy, management and educational development planning at the Conference Room I, KEDI. This course was designed for the participants to: strengthen the capacity to build their own educational policy; establish mid- and long- term training plans to reformulate Mongolian EFA National Action Plan and establish attainable educational plans which will bring educational development in Mongolia.
Also, the course consisted of three main components; Program Orientation, Professional Components, and Social & Cultural Programs. Participants learned about Korean culture, obtained specialized knowledge on EFA and education, discussed Mongolian EFA planning, and experienced social & cultural activities through a field trip to Gyeongju and Pohang and Home Visiting.
All participants were able to enhance their capacity to establish mid- to long- term plans to reformulate the Mongolian EFA National Action plan as well as to establish an attainable educational plan.
