Korean Educational Development Institute(KEDI)

The Korean Educational Development Institute hosted an international seminar on teacher policy, sponsored by OECD and the Korean Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development. Entitled, "OECD-Korea International Seminar: The Challenges and Tasks of Teacher Policy," the purpose of the seminar is to disseminate the results of the OECD activity, "Attracting, Developing and Retaining Effective Teachers." In this seminar, Dr. Bernard Hugonnier, Deputy-Director of Directorate for Education, OECD, Dr. Paluo Santiago, Administrator of Education and Training Policy Division, OECD, and Dr. John Coolahan, Emeritus Professor of National University of Ireland participated as a guest speaker.
