Korean Educational Development Institute(KEDI)

UNESCO Beijing and Korean National Commission for UNESCO jointly organized the Roundtable for Educational Cooperation in Northeast Asia on Nov. 3, 2003 in Shanghai, China to discuss the feasibility of establishing an educational organization among five Northeast Asian countries. High-level government officials, scholars, and staff from UNESCO National Commissions participated in this Roundtable. Dr. Chong Jae Lee, the president of KEDI and Dr. Jae-Seok Kwak, associate research fellow at KEDI attended the meeting. This Roundtable contributed to creating the measures for systematical development of regional cooperation in education of Northeast Asia.
