Dr. Sang-Jin Ban, a Professor of Chonbuk National University, has been appointed as the new President of Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) on March 30, 2018.
Dr. Ban received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in education from Dongguk University and got his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, U.S.A.
He served as Executive Advisor to Presidential Committee on Education & Human Resources Policy, and a Chair of Korean Society for the Economics & Finance of Education and Korean Society of the Politics of Education.
He currently holds multiple appointments including a Vice Chair of the Korean Educational Administration Society, and Advisory Committee member for Educational Policy, Ministry of Education in Korea.
