The 5th APEC Education Ministerial Meeting (AEMM) will be held in Gyeongju, Korea from May 21st to 23rd 2012 under the theme of "Future Challenges and Educational Responses: Fostering Global, Innovative and Cooperative Education."

As the second Asian host economy after Singapore, Korea ishosting a historical international event with education ministers from 21 countries including advanced countries such as the U.S., Canada, and Japan, Latin American countries such as Chile and Peru, and developing East Asian countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei.
