“Educational Support Policies and Practices for Multi-cultural Students"

1. Background and Objectives

○ Exploration of Korea's educational development scheme by utilizing OECD's accumulated experiences and knowledge to domestic policy establishment and implementation and sharing and benchmarking education information of OECD countries
○ More practical use of research results and diagnosis and solution to Korea's education from the international perspectives by result-sharing and dissemination of OECD co-research project with domestic and overseas persons concerned
○ Examination of development plan for sustainable educational cooperation between Korean government and OECD
○ Direction arrangement to develop and push ahead multi-cultural policy by analyzing and addressing Korea's education through international comparition of member countries and result-sharing of OECD-driven Migrant project, "Closing the Gap for Immigrant Students: Policies, Practices, and Performance.“
