Dr. Dong-Seop Jin, a professor of Seoul National University was appointed as a new president of the Korean Educational Development Institute on August 8, 2008. The president holds office for 3 years.
Dr. Dong-Seop Jin is one of the most highly active and renowned scholars in the field of educational administration. He was trained at Seoul National University earning his B.A. and M.A. in education. He received his Ph. D. from the University of Chicago, USA. He has been appointed to the president of Educational Administration Training Center at Seoul National University and the president of Korean Society for the Politics of Education. Besides, he has served as member of Presidential Committee on Education Innovation and Presidential Committee on Policy and Planning.
Under the new leadership of Dr. Jin, KEDI is expected to contribute to the educational development in Korea as well as in the global community.
